NOTICE TO MEMBERS – 2019 ELECTIONS

A ballot is required.

Ballot papers will be posted to eligible members on Monday, 3 June 2019.

If you do not receive your ballot paper by Friday 14 June 2019 please contact your State Returning Officer to obtain an application for replacement ballot material.

Applications are available from your State Returning Officer and should be faxed or posted without delay. Please see below for phone and fax numbers.

The ballot closes at 12.00 Noon (local time of the Returning Officer) on Monday 1 July 2019.

ALL MEMBERS PLEASE NOTE
Your ballot material is for you and you alone to vote on and to post back to your State Returning Officer in the envelopes supplied.

No other person has authority to vote on your ballot paper or to take any of your ballot material for any reason including posting.

Do not give your ballot paper to any person other than an authorised officer of the Australian Electoral Commission who shows identification.

Section 195 of Fair Work (Registered Organisations) Act 2009 sets out offences and penalties in relation to elections conducted by the Australian Electoral Commission
