REMEMBER BALLOT CLOSES: WED 9TH SEP at 10am
Do not be misled or feel threatened by management about taking lawful protected industrial action. This is your legal right under the Fair Work Act.
Management have stated that “ Employees taking industrial action are not paid” This only occurs if you withdraw your labour. Industrial bans are protected in law from your employer taking any adverse action against you.
Once the positive YES vote is in, we can initiate the protected industrial action process, by notifying management that action will comence after 72 hours.
The unions and ESTA are committed to continuing to bargaining in good faith.
Hopefully we will reach a fair and reasonable outcome, that does not include trading off hard won conditions and salary increases, and improves your currrent agreement.
