Hi John Ellery, Len Cooper, Sharon and all others past and present at CWU T&S,
Time has come to hang up the “butinski” and park the “Spudger”
Having endured 42 years in the industry sadly I resign from the CWU – fading into retirement
A proud member of the ATEA, CEPU, CWU, and very appreciative of all effort during multiple struggles.
Thanks and best wishes to ALL

I am writing to formally advise my intention to retire from the position of Technical Expert, National SME Managed Radio Networks with Telstra and ceasing employment in 2015.
I have enjoyed working with the team at Telstra over the past 20 years and it is with pride and a sense of achievement that I look back on what has been a major part of my working life looking after Managed Radio networks field technical operations while enjoying day to day contact and interaction with colleagues at C SD Enhanced Technology Services.
I know I will miss interaction with work colleagues and being a member of the Communications Workers Union, in many respects an extended family of associates working together to maintain working conditions and environment.
Nevertheless for me the time has come to consider the next stage of life and as such register my resignation from CWU.
I wish the union and its members all the very best for the future.

After almost 49 years of service with Australia Post (and membership with CEPU of similar duration), I have accepted a VRP from Australia Post. Accordingly please action the termination of my membership with — CEPU;
I also want to take this opportunity to thank CEPU for the many years of negotiations with Australia Post — to ensure best possible working conditions etc, for all union members including myself — making it possible for me to achieve such a long career with Australia Post.
Particular thanks to John Ellery and Bernard Stabb, who helped resolve many of my issues with Post, through personalised attention and interaction over the years.
