LONG SERVICE LEAVE (LSL) - STATE
COMMONWEALTH EMPLOYEES such as Public Service, Telstra and Aus Post are covered by the Commonwealth Long Service Act. NON COMMONWEALTH EMPLOYEES are covered by the Long Service Act in the state where they are employed. Each State in Australia has its own LSL Act. In all states there is a minimum qualifying period before the entitlement arises.
