TZV LOG OF CLAIMS
REMUNERATION
Cl 20 - 2% annual salary increase to base wage per annum over life of Agreement
ONCE OFF LUMP SUM PAYMENT
A once off lump sum payment to each employee covered by the Agreement. Subject to total package in accordance with Victorian Government Wages Policy
PARENTAL LEAVE

Current Position
Primary Caregiver eligible for 14 weeks at full pay (or 28 weeks at half pay)
Secondary Caregiver eligible for 2 weeks
Pre-adoption leave entitlement to unpaid leave
Special Parental Leave
Where the pregnancy of an Employee not then on parental leave terminates other than by the birth of a living child after the completion of 20 weeks, the Employee is entitled to paid special maternity leave not exceeding the amount of paid parental leave available under clause 30.8 and thereafter, to unpaid special maternity leave.
TZV Proposal
Uplift to various Parental Leave provisions in addition to those contained within the current Agreement, including:
Primary Caregiver
For primary caregivers with more than 12 months service: 16 weeks leave at full pay (or half pay for 32 weeks), and up to 36 weeks unpaid.
Secondary Caregiver
For eligible secondary caregivers with more than 12 months service: up to 4 weeks paid leave
For secondary caregivers with more than 12 months service who take over primary care responsibility: an additional 8 weeks paid leave
Pre-natal leave
For pregnant employees to attend routine medical appointments: 38 hours paid leave.
For employees whose spouse who is pregnant, to attend routine medical appointments: 7.6 hours paid leave
Pre-adoption leave
For employees seeking to adopt a child (permanent staff): Up to 2 days paid leave.
Permanent Care Leave
16 weeks leave at full pay (or half pay for 32 weeks), and up to 36 weeks unpaid
Special Parental leave
Where pregnancy terminates during first 12 weeks, employee can access any paid or unpaid personal/carer's leave
Where pregnancy terminates after the completion of 12 weeks but before the completion of 20 weeks, employee can access any paid or unpaid personal/carer's leave and/or unpaid special maternity leave not exceeding the amount of parental leave under clause 30.8
Flexible Parental Leave
Entitlement in accordance with s72A Fair Work Act 2009
FAMILY & DOMESTIC VIOLENCE LEAVE

Update to provisions to align with the Operations Agreement and the NES to provide casual employees with access to 10 days of paid leave and update to wording of the clause more generally to align with the Operations Agreement

Cl: New relates to clause 10
Existing clause 10 provides preference to be given for engaging permanent employees over labour hire or contractors and casual employees where reasonably practicable
TZV Proposal
Insert additional related clauses to include provisions for secure employment, use of fixed term employment, and use of casual employment which detail TZV's and employee obligations in accordance with the Secure Jobs Better Pay Act amendments to the Fair Work Act 2009. Consistent within the VPS Agreement (clause 17, 18 and 19).
RIGHT TO DISCONNECT
TZV Proposal
Insert clause outlining the Right to Disconnect consistent with obligations under the Fair Work Act 2009.
FLEXIBLE WORK ARRANGEMENTS

TZV Proposal
Update clause to wording contained within the Operations Agreement. Given Flexible Work is a prevalent and dynamic topic in workplaces, this provides that TZV Policy maintains the requirements both within NES and broader organisational support for flexibility, and that the wording of the Agreement will not become outdated as these practices adjust.
