In the first Enterprise agreement, Gainshare payments were
incorporated into the agreement. The aims were never really
achieved as the measures were either not properly structured
or improperly structured. But payments were agreed.
First payment 10/93 $500
Second payment 10/94 $650 minimum payment to all
$900 network operations $900 telstra learning staff
On 01-08-97 the CO Review and Tullamarine Agreements were ratified.
This resulted in a payment of $2000 to all CO staff and some
technical staff.

TELSTRA SALARIES SENIOR OFFICER
The Senior Officers Agreement was ratified in the IRC in 1995.
It had limited application and we expected the area to grow.
The agreement does not include salaries. However Telstra has
confirmed that the salaries have been reviewed and the following
apply:

The salaries are determined by market survey. The total salary
consists of the following:In November 1997, Telstra adjusted the SO salary rates by 3.7% for SO 7 levels. Base Salary from above
plus performance payment
plus allowance component
Thus a member could be promoted to Senior Officer Grade 7 on say $53,300. He would be entitled to a 10% ($5,300) performance payment if performance is satisfactory. On top of this, he would receive $8,000 in benefits such as a car.
