TZV EBA SUPPORT STRUCTURE Negotiations continue on non-controversial matters but we expect significant developments this week as TZV will reveal their proposed structure. This will impact most Support staff. We expect the structure to be released to us during this week. A major meeting is planned for Monday September 1 to hear an explanation and to put our questions. NBN SOD DEVELOPMENTS There was a significant step forward in the case this week as NBN has not pressed their technical objections to our statement of claim. We will now file our amended Statement of Claim and NBN will file their defence by 22 September. The matter is listed for further directions on 10 October. TELSTRA JOB DESCRIPTIONS There has been no progress with Job Descriptions covering Optical Fibre members. We see the Telstra proposals as vague and designed to avoid the Court finding in the Jayawardana Case. Telstra is now proposing new Job descriptions for Radio Lines and Riggers. We have yet to discuss these. UNION SHOPPER SAVINGS
